Fort Pierce, FL – February 1, 2011 – CB Richard Ellis (CBRE), the world’s leading commercial real estate services provider, has arranged the sale of a 6.99-acre industrial development site located in the Fort Pierce Business Park on Selvitz Road in Fort Pierce, Florida for $850,000. Robert Smith, Senior Vice President of CBRE represented Prestige Gunite, the seller. Rick Bonvie of Bonvie Realty represented the buyer, Waste Pro Southeast, LLC.

This sale eliminated the last available pad-ready industrial development site in the Fort Pierce Business Park from the market and leaves Crossroads Park of Commerce Industrial Park with the only pad-ready site in the area. Waste Pro Southeast, LLC plans to increase their presence in St. Lucie County and will use the site to expand their existing operations. “This transaction confirms that more national companies are considering the South Florida market to meet their expansion needs,” said Mr. Smith.

Mr. Smith and Mr. Bonvie were able to complete the transaction in a very timely manner. Initial dialogue began in early December and the deal closed by year-end. “With two seasoned brokers, and the cooperation of all parties involved, we were able to pull the deal together in a very short time frame,” said Mr. Smith.

Mr. Smith specializes in the sale and leasing of industrial and office properties in Palm Beach County, Florida. In his career with CBRE, he has been involved in over 550 sale and lease transactions totalling over $875 million in consideration.
